Tom Bodin
Director
Tom Bodin, managing partner of OI Partners - Organizational
Innovations, Inc., has an impressive record of progressive human resource,
operations, management, individual and business-to-business consulting,
coaching, training and recruitment experience. Highly knowledgeable of the
retail, financial, marketing, travel, communications, public sector and service
industries, Tom has demonstrated skills and expertise in organization and human
development, strategic planning, executive/management coaching, career and
change management, training, candidate sourcing, outplacement, performance
management, compensation, communications, publishing, meeting facilitation and
business start-up activities. A sought-after speaker, he also actively
coaches, advises and consults with both organizations and
individuals. Clients come from business, government, and non-profit
entities.
An elected member to the OI Partners, Inc.,
Board of Directors, Tom also serves as the Vice President of Technology. In this capacity he is responsible for overseeing the international
corporation's identification, creation and implementation of uniform technology
solutions. He also serves on Board of Directors of the Association of Career
Firms, North America. Since 1992 Tom has served on the Hennepin-Carver
County Workforce Investment Board. Here, as Board Chairman of the state’s
largest Workforce Service Area, he works with organizations, businesses,
community, education, government and economic development entities to encourage
and create beneficial employment and training partnerships.
An adjunct faculty member, Tom teaches Human
Resource Management Strategy in the Schools of Graduate and Professional
Programs at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Corporate business
experience includes an extensive background in Human Resources, Advertising,
Public Relations, Communications and Broadcasting. Prior to starting his
first, business, major employers were KSTP Radio, I.C. System, Pako Corporation,
ITT Corporation and the Carlson Companies.
Active in business, community and church
organizations, he has always believed in giving his time and supporting and
acting on behalf of community needs. He holds a B.A. degree from the
University of Minnesota in Speech Communication and Journalism. He is
married and has two adult children and one granddaughter.
