The cost to an organization of hiring a key executive who isn’t successful and leaves after a year or 18 months is very significant.  The opportunity cost alone, not including the cost of hiring and severance, can be dramatic.  

It makes sense to assess a final candidate prior to making an offer to insure that the candidate has the profile to fit in the organization and the capabilities to be successful.  Even with internal candidates, assessing their fit with a substantial new role can identify gaps in fit and capabilities.

The information developed in the assessment can provide direction in an Onboarding or Coaching program.
