Burt H. Burrell

Burt Burrell has over 20 years of professional experience, with the last 15 years as an Outplacement and Career Transition Consulting professional.  He is presently the Managing Partner of CareerWise-Oi Partners, Salt Lake City. Over the last 15 years he has assisted thousands of employees for companies such as American Stores, National Semiconductor, and Novel make career transitions when their companies experienced downsizing or reorganization.  Additionally, he has counseled hundreds of individual professionals at the middle and senior level to revitalize or redirect their careers. 

He is a popular writer, seminar presenter, and speaker on management and career related subjects. Prior to his work in the Outplacement industry, Mr. Burrell also held senior accounting, marketing, and business development positions for several companies including: Fox and Company CPA, , A.H. Robins Pharmaceutical, NPI Pharmaceutical, Teleware Learning Corp., and Haelan Medical. 

Mr. Burrell holds an MBA from Brigham Young University, a BS in Accounting from Utah State University, and numerous certifications in the areas of career development, leadership and training.
