Mike has over 30 years’ experience in business development, general management and human resources as an executive in International Fortune 500 Companies, hi tech start- ups, and as the President/CEO of a successful start-up corporation.
The focus of his corporate and consulting experience has been in addressing effectiveness for organizations, teams, and individuals. His work includes conducting organizational assessments as the basis for aligning available competencies and processes with the organization’s goals and strategies. He has designed and delivered a wide variety of services including Leadership skills, Change Management, Career Management, Executive Coaching, Behavioral Interviewing, Diversity Training, and Conflict Resolution.
Mike is certified by the HR certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). His undergraduate degree is in Philosophy and he has an MBA with an emphasis in Organizational Management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is completing his doctoral degree in organizational design and change.
He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development and the Society for Human Resource Management. He is experienced in the application of such instruments as the Birkman Method, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest Inventory, Life Styles Inventory, Holland Self Directed Search and Professional Dynametric Programs.
