Ronald F. Ennis, Ph.D., CMF, President

Dr. Ennis has over thirty years' experience as a Career Counselor, Organizational Development Consultant and Entrepreneur.  He specializes in senior and executive level counseling, entrepreneurial start-ups, sales, and organizational and management development.  He was an Organizational Consultant at Tektronix, Inc.; the Dean of the Oregon Graduate School of Professional Psychology; a Teacher and Counselor in the Masters program in Business at Marylhurst College; and he has successfully completed four business start-ups.  Ron is very active in community development and has assumed leadership roles in many civic organizations focusing on Sustainable Business Practices, Local Business Development, the Arts, Education and the Environment.  He has a B.A. in Psychology and History from Stanford University, an M.S. in Human Relations from Boston University, and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Vanderbilt University.  Ron is certified as a Career Management Fellow by the Institute for Career Certification, International.


Jean Erickson Walker, Ed.D., CMF, Executive Vice President

Jean Erickson WalkerJean Erickson Walker, Ed.D., CMF is an accomplished Executive Coach who brings a wealth of experience gained over twenty years in Executive Coaching, Career Counseling and Leadership Development across a broad range of industries, non-profit organizations, and boards of directors.

Dr. Walker is the author of The Age Advantage: Making the Most of Your Midlife Career Transition (Putnam/Penguin, Sept. 2000).  An engaging speaker and author who consistently challenges her audiences to rise above their own limitations and expectations, she is described by Publishers Weekly as “Blunt, Compassionate and Effective.” Jean has a bias for action, based on thoughtful consideration of the issues, and she believes strongly in the potential of collaborative leadership.

Jean has been internationally certified as a Career Management Fellow (CMF) and currently serves as Chair of the Board of Governors of ICC International, the only independent, not-for-profit international board certification for career management professionals. She is one of 12 Governors from seven countries.

Jean is Executive Vice President of Pathways/OI Partners Inc., a leading career services firm in Portland, Oregon, which provides Executive Coaching, Leadership Development, Talent Management, Outplacement, Management Consulting and Organizational Development Consulting to companies and individuals.

Matt Morscheck, MS, CMP, NCC, Career Counselor/Client Services Manager

Matt MorscheckMatt is a master’s level counselor with professional interests in the areas of career counseling, coaching, and personal development.  Matt is internationally certified as a Career Management Practitioner (CMP) by the Institute for Career Certification, International and has been recognized as a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors.

Since joining the Pathways/OI Partners team in 2005, Matt has helped hundreds of professionals successfully navigate career and life transitions. Matt maintains a part time private practice, and has taught career development courses at Clark College, Portland State University, and Portland Community College.  In 2008, Matt was elected to the Executive Board of the Oregon Career Development Association.

Matt holds an MS in Counseling from Portland State University, a BA in Business Administration from Washington State University, and has completed a post-graduate certificate in Human Resource Management.

In addition to his counseling experience, Matt owns and operates MRE Media, LLC, a website design and electronic publishing company that specializes in websites for small business and individuals."


Kurt Krause, Senior Associate

Kurt has over twenty years experience structuring work environments that provide motivation and compatibility with the corporate cultures of both foreign and domestic-based companies. His experience includes the challenge of building fast growth high tech companies such as Retix, Fujitsu, and Amdahl as Vice President of Human Resources. He has also provided both individual and group career and retirement counseling while employed with Drake Beam Morin, Inc., in Oregon, and DeRecat and Associates, a regional career guidance firm, in the Bay Area. He has provided the human resources expertise to The Suran Group, an Oregon business consulting company, as a Senior Associate. He has been an adjunct instructor at San Jose State University and holds a B.S. in Psychology from Portland State with graduate work in the Masters psychology program at San Francisco State University.
