Core Career Transition Services

Individual Counseling/Coaching

All programs include confidential, one-on-one counseling sessions.  The client’s needs and preferences determine the focus.  Sessions may include developing a resume, learning self-marketing skills, finding a sense of direction, overcoming fear of networking, locating job leads, or developing interviewing skills.

Career Transition Workshop

Our highly-regarded two-day signature workshop helps individuals develop greater self-awareness, flexibility, and control of their careers.  Extensive self-assessment identifies talents, interests, values and interpersonal style, allowing for a targeted job search focused on skills, core competencies, experience and expertise. 

Clients learn to utilize job search resources, identify and research job markets, cultivate and use networks, practice effective interviewing and negotiating skills, and prepare effective resumes and cover letters.  By combining an emphasis on self-awareness with an education in job search skills, the workshop prepares participants to successfully identify and obtain jobs that fit their needs and interests.

Weekly Seminars & Networking Sessions

Weekly presentations by staff, mentors, and other special guests, cover a wide range of topics important to the job seeker and provide an opportunity for clients to network. 

Technology, Internet, & Social Media Coaching

Effective use of technology and the Internet is an increasingly important factor in successful career transitions -- in all industries, and at all levels of experience.  Technology is integrated throughout every program, with additional one-on-one and group services available to help clients make the most of technology resources. 

Career Resource Library

The library contains newspapers, magazines, trade journals, company/industry information, and a variety of job search books and resources. 

Office Services and Computer Resources

Our office is equipped with a variety of resources to assist in the job search: telephones, fax machine, copier, conference room, and wireless Internet access. \
